Urban Places LLC provides real estate development advisory services to facilitate the creation of great urban places: sustainable, walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods in which to live, work and play.

 

Urban Places LLC is led by Gregory Powe, AIA who brings more than four decades of experience in managing, planning and designing an urban mix of residential, office, hotel, cultural and retail facilities throughout the United States and Canada.  Greg’s clients include commercial and multifamily residential developers and investors, cultural institutions and public agencies, corporations and public private partnerships.

 

The primary geographic focus of our development advisory services is in Central and Northern Virginia and Washington, DC where Greg is has detailed understanding of market influences and regulatory restrictions and processes.  Hospitality assignments range from Northern and Central Virginia to the Balkans. 

 

Urban Places LLC works in close collaboration with Powe Studio Architects PC, also led by Greg Powe, which focuses primarily on the planning and design of urban mixed-use and historic adaptive reuse facilities. Greg also collaborates regularly with a team of real estate financial analysts, brokers and appraisers, consulting engineers and specialty designers, and builders.
